Death Toll 4
She was in her second class for the day. The profs were boring at best. Her eyes wandered off at the construction site nearby. This is why she loved sitting beside the window. She started staring at the window since her parents separated. She watched at the window as her dad hailed a cab and left.
Her mind continued to wonder that she didn’t notice that everyone was staring at her. Her professor called her attention and asked her what she thought about the topic. She is usually keen on things even without paying too much attention. However, today is different.
Today, there’s been a booming sound that continued to grow louder that she literally couldn’t make out what her professor was saying. Then the window glass shattered, she thought she heard one of her classmates screamed. She was wrong. It was the sound of her own scream.
Her scream came to a halt when the 9ft tall wreaking ball hit her flying. She heard everything. Her back breaking, the sound of glass cutting on her skin, face, and arm.
Then there was silence.
