The hate that binds us

The dissent that social media brings to us.

Never has there been a time where hate and indifference is so reflected in our society, online and offline, that it leaves a bad taste in our mouth, until now.

Yes, the president has issues, much so the people around him (yes, I’m talking about you and your men, Andanar) but it is actually us netizens who make it worst. We are poisoned with fascist resolve – Fanaticism in every sense. We take sides and hate and persecute those people who don’t share our ideals. It degrades us. And we make a fool of ourselves. A pity.

We were once a nation of champions. Now we are but comedians on a badly written play. Stop the dissent. We are better than this. The next time we see a comment or a post that opposes our opinion try to understand but do not impose. Criticize but do not judge. Argue but do not hate. Keep an open mind.

We have a foul-mouthed president. But it does not mean we would resort to lynching. We are better than this.
