Old Phone

My phone died today

So I had to use an old one
Imagine how it felt
To find I still had our old messages of love.
I read each one again
As if it were the first time
It brought back not a smile
Rather pain and tears in my eyes
I hurriedly deleted each one
I did not want to go back in time
When all I had was you
But you chose to say good bye.
