Greetings, post-adolescent citizens! The Ugly Writers are pleased, pun intended, to invite everyone to see Sarah Ruhl’s Pulitzer prize finalist stage play entitled In the Next Room, or the vibrator play. That’s not to say that we are voyeurs rooting for this stimulating yet surreal sex comedy, but how can we say no if it is presented by the oh-so-great Repertory Philippines? We are in it for a nice round and we can’t help it so please don’t tell our moms about this. Oh, any minute from now they will learn about this from their news feed and zone out to buy tickets, too.
