A new friend

is coffee,

in a gas station,

with a time stamp,

that is less than four hours old.

She is a clean public restroom

or a rash that isn’t contagious

or an STD,

dry skin or maybe poison ivy

but, 100% not contagious.

A pleasant surprise, totally unexpected,

but makes every day just a little bit better.
