Lost in Reverie

Lost in Reverie

Sadness takes over

Like a new high tide

Violent and unflinching

With thundering sounds

Like a sudden pounding push

To reality,

I resurface.

Quiet and unseen

Lost pebbles against

Subliminal vastness of the blue shore

Silent and brooding

Over the depths of the ocean

And a million unread poems

Breeze whispers to the sea.

I resurface

Again and again

Like the moon appears

Playfully rolling over the sea

On a starry night.

A seeker, dreamer, scribbler, reader, writing poetry as musings of a restless mind....and yes 'the sight of the stars makes me dream' too....
