Of Seashells and Dewdrops

Of Seashells and Dewdrops

In the wake
Of last night’s sleep
Troubled with
Fading memories
Of rising sorrow
And befallen grief
Dream-like reverie
In the torrential Storms
of striking sleet
I
Live,
fully awake
To the grey morn
Mildly freezing
But gentle winds
Benumbing pains…
Pains… Now fast fading.
Unpleasant dreams,
Flowing grief
And
My yesterdays
Transforming before
My eyes into
Sparkling dewdrops
Reflecting the Universe,
Seashells
And my tomorrow.
