Gratitude

Gratitude

Let the West Wind chase away Autumn’s dream

To lands of fled shadows And misty stream

Let pale rusty leaves like unsent letters

swim away to whom love truly matters

On a field distant , from city’s uproar

Breathe gently in spring’s flowery bower

With eyes closed and with a smile on your face

Abandon all your fears let thoughts gain pace

Whilst you sit underneath a shadeless tree

And sing summer’s forgotten poetry

A seeker, dreamer, scribbler, reader, writing poetry as musings of a restless mind....and yes 'the sight of the stars makes me dream' too....
