Everything
For a morning oozing with dew
And for a blissful noon with you
When the dusk keeps falling like rain
Also for nights of grief and pain
For the smiles once showered with glee
And for the tears that still haunt me
For the friendliest hugs exchanged
Or if saddened for love estranged
For seashells ringing in a jar
And for the late night’s falling star
For resting against Banyan’s bark
One day afore my world turned dark
I send a silent wish ashore
With gratitude forever more.
