GHOSTS

I wake up and think I'm free, but your shadow follows me everywhere I go.

GHOSTS

You haunt me in my dreams.

I wake up and think I’m free,

but your shadow follows me everywhere I go.

I get lost in my daily life and feel you’re gone,

only to feel you creeping in my mind during the quiet times.

There is no place in my life you have not been,

nowhere I can look without being reminded of you.

I want you exorcised from my life,

yet I hold on with all my might.

How do I cleanse my spirit of your ghost?
