Moonlight

Moonlight is a poem written and shared by Mira Dizon to The Ugly Writers with the theme Random Thoughts for the month of March.

Moonlight

A lost soul once found the light

Across the deep silent night

She keeps on staring,

Unlike the sun, light does not hurt

Instantly, it made her calm…

But tears fell down her eyes

Just like the moon,

She’s by herself – alone

And then she realized that it’s okay.

Because the moon,

It may be alone, but still has a purpose.
