Little Girl’s Strawberry Moon

Little Girl’s Strawberry Moon is a lovely poem written and shared by Maryam H. Viqar to The Ugly Writers under the theme Love this month of May.

Little Girl’s Strawberry Moon

With a full pink moon

And starry nights

I will stand underneath

The Northern lights

All green and blue

and pink And yellow

Dancing madly

in shadowy whites

With snow under

my Springing steps

I am bound to fall

If no one helps

Oh wonderful wonderful

It’s such a delight

I shall dance under

The Northern Lights

With reindeers Sprightly

Running away

Ones I heard about

Every Christmas day

I shall be a happy little girl

Even without a single

Flower in sight.

I shall dance under

the Northern lights.

A seeker, dreamer, scribbler, reader, writing poetry as musings of a restless mind....and yes 'the sight of the stars makes me dream' too....
