Apollo: Rebirth of the Light is a poem written by John Joseph Flores and shared with The Ugly Writers with the theme Breakout for September.
Apollo: Rebirth of the Light
I am reincarnated to give you light,
New prophecy will rise from what I will write.
A curse or a gift, remedy or devastation,
Yes, I am Apollo of this new generation.
Rebirth to vanquish the embodiment of the modern Python.
Murder it before the world swallowed by the ruination.
Every word I count will be the arrow for the judgment.
Hymn of the curse will be played for hypocrisy’s entombment.
From the light of my Sun,
I will make the darkness gone.
From the harmony that I will play,
You will see the dawn of a brand new day.
My light will never fade even no one believes,
This is the eternal promise that I will give.
And when darkness seems to devour your heart and mind,
Remember my name ΜΆ Apollo, and in your soul, my light will bind.
