Spirits of the Dead

The nights shall be crystal clear, the days shall be bright , filled with merriment. thou mustn't worry for we shall guide, guide thou to thy final port of bid  - heaven!

Spirits of the Dead is a poem written by Haniya Usmani and shared with The Ugly Writers under the theme Shining Bright / Deepest Black for the month of November

Spirits of the Dead

‘arise spirits of the dead’,

rise from thy graves,

the silence  ‘i  the solitude is profuse,

rise from thy graves.

ye soul shall find the way,

course through the track,

worn by the feet of those ere,

whom befell to be led afore.

ye soul shall find the way-

find the way to the bleached cupola.

doth naught hasten ye self with distress.

we guided the ones ere; we shall guide thou as well.

The nights shall be crystal clear,

the days shall be bright , filled with merriment.

thou mustn’t worry for we shall guide,

guide thou to thy final port of bid  – heaven!

‘arise spirits of the dead’,

rise from thy graves,

the silence  ‘i  the solitude is profuse,

rise from thy graves.

ye soul shall find the way,

find the way like those ere.
