Come And Let’s Dance
Let it be known that in this dance we are having, we need to synchronize our steps, we need to mentaly acknowledge our counts, we should go along the rhythm, listen and anticipate every timings, ready for any sudden transitions and perform the smooth actions to achieve the gracefulness of the pause.
Come with me and take my hand as I offer it to you. Take it and I will bring you in the middle of this ballroom called life. Plenty might also dance along in this but never regard them and let them do their own hustle. Follow my guide as i push our way to the center. With hardwork and perseverance. Never let go off my hand, grip it. Grip more! Someone might bump on you and you may slip and fall. And i would never let it happen. Keep walking and follow my lead so that you will never get drag, get astray or may somehow entice by someone that might look very good in dancing. Just walk and in an any moment we will be dancing.
Can you hear it? The loud mellow sound. The music that you cant resist but to dance along and sway your foot bringing close to another. It create a sensation in your ears that can able be seen in a form of light-footed steps, slow hand gestures, waiving body and agile glances from side to side. It feed your senses with rhythm to follow along, the transitional tempo that we need to do in perfect timing and especially the treble that give us warning when to change step, turn and sway. The Intro to make us prepare and do the mental counting, the Refrain that lay us into gracefull swings and lifts which evetually lead us to the Chorus, you and me together, as one, doing the right action and the perfect beau geste!
And then here you are now. Standing parallel to me. My hands on your hips, yours on my shoulder. You know what i see? My reflection! You are my opposite. Move your left foot and i will move my right. Step back your right foot and i will forward my left. This is a carefully orchestrated steps. You and me doing the same thing in unison considering each others actions. The gracefull movements that we do, make people look and stare. But dont care! As long as we dance along the music playing just for you and me, it will last for eternity. This great dance of life and compassion as we sway and glide with our bodies tightly bind that no one can ever separate!
Let me your dancing partner forever!
