Black People

Black People is a poem written by Theo and shared with The Ugly Writers under the theme Entropy: Overcoming Destruction for the month of July

Black people
Maybe you could show me more of a black man’s work, surely we are worth
A blank price
A black mind oppressor
Back in time apart from the hate
A black man’s pride fought like lions
With a pack of wolf’s in sheeps coat
Blank is our fine art to the earth
To find hearts who can dare
I declare
Until we pass on our site of seeing
And tell them our side of things
We all beings with our sins
Paying our deeds
Pray for our needs
Every Black mindset is the reality
Of our forefathers
Now we are brothers meaning they are sisters
