Red Glitter Glue is a poem written by Ma. Elena Yusay and shared with The Ugly Writers under the theme Closing Chapter
A vestal child’s demise is a father figure
masking his perverted intentions.
Fiery seas await his corrupted soul…
for twisted actions against weeping maidens;
for atrocities in broad daylight.
He tricked his wife’s child with his tongue
that gave slimy caresses.
He blamed temptation for his actions—
was an elementary schoolgirl his temptation?
She was deprived of paternal love.
Not bound by blood, he knew…
he could get away with his crimes
that went on for several years.
His disdain killed her childhood
yet he roams freely in the world of the living
with red glitter glue on his manhood—
sparkles that show his murderous addiction.
