Unrequited Love Confessions, 2.

Unrequited Love Confessions, 2 is an essay written by Julie Ann Baynosa and shared with The Ugly Writers with the theme Steadfast for the month of May

Have you ever been in a case of love where you try to stay away from the person and all that you’ve been feeling, but still fall for them the same way?

It’s funny how I don’t see

much or know of you everyday,

Yet my heart longs for you,

the same way.

The same way

I’ve seen and known love with you,

Sure and certain that it’s bound to stay.

The same way

How my heart has found a home,

To finally keep from breaking away.

The same way

Where I am confident to welcome

either days of sunshine and gray,

Because I know your hand

will never let go of me.

The same way

Where I can’t see a single reason why,

This love finds it hard–

To set sail for you and me.
