The wanderer moves on,
Leaving behind the burnt up logs
Few morsels of uneaten tasteless food
He moves on…
Another mountain lies ahead,
Perhaps another village too
He moves on, leaves his pains behind
His smiles and laughter
Dreams and all
But leaves no footprint on the sand.
And knows no one will ever care to follow
Or find his whereabouts…
A homeless, dreamless lonely man.
Tied to eternal restlessness
Who is bound to wander the earth alone
On a journey endless
But no one knows
he is like a bird
Who flies freely
Searches the earth for truth,
for meanings and for love
He flies on
He needs no wings
He is eternally bound
To roam and guard the earth
Until
he truly moves aloft
Buried by the sands of Time,
Scarred and unloved
Seeking the meaning of life
Or death
He goes aloft
Unknown paths unfold for him
Secrets of heaven and earth
Sunset and sunrise
Of blooms
In wilderness
Of love discreet
And of a far greater universe
Within himself
Yet to be found.
The wanderer moves on,
Floating,
Until he finds a place to call his own.
