In the silence Of the dead woods Where the lonely trees All stood The autumn nymphs Dance To the haunting tunes of memory's trance
My yesterdays Transforming before My eyes into Sparkling dewdrops Reflecting the Universe, Seashells And my tomorrow.
As you rise and fall Nonchalantly To appear and disappear In the soothing waters Let no one stop you From believing In six impossible things
She began to whisper About dreams turning dark And uncanny happenings
I write a few lines Of poetry But, Like the others I too shall leave.
Let the raindrops wash My memories from your mind I have crossed the realms unknown
The wanderer moves on, Leaving behind the burnt up logs Few morsels of uneaten tasteless food
What lies on the other side Of life What awaits us when we cease To be A heaven, exquisite Or a hell like the one
