A friend and I recently talked about the crumbling marriages we see all around us. Where one partner works at the relationship and the other puts in little to no effort. Breaks my heart. Praying today for marriages. Praying for unspoken heart hurts. Praying for those that feel so alone. Reach out and ask for help. Work at saving your relationship. Even when it is hard. Especially when it is difficult.

I won’t worry
I won’t regret

I will run
I will thrive
I will embark

You will turn

Marriage is a deep contract of love and commitments. It has terms and it needs to be in a fair and symbiotic relationship.
A happy marriage is not guaranteed but a daily choice of yours.

We all know that it’s never fifty-fifty in a marriage. It’s always seventy-thirty, or sixty-forty. Someone falls in love first. Someone puts someone else up on a pedestal. Someone works very hard to keep things rolling smoothly; someone else sails along for the ride. Marriage is scared and it can wait, so wisely choose a man that you want to be with.

Marriage is no joke. You can’t just say no when the feelings fade. You commit so you gotta make it up until the end, even if the road gets bumpy. You can’t just turn your back when you don’t feel like it. Love is magical. Don’t let the sparks gone. Keep it and make it last.
