An Open Letter To All Young People
Dear young ones! The sun is about to set, and so are we
Remember your creator while the days of your youth are still free
Do whatever the emptiness of your soul wanted to plea
Make every memory from what your eyes were able to see
Dance to the rhythm your ears hear gracefully
Find pleasure in every page of your story
Dream of dreams your heart pleases to be
But keep in mind to follow the instructions of thee
Hold them in your hands and keep them in your heart firmly
Do not lose sight of them; instead, commit yourself wholeheartedly
Then you will live a life with steadfast promise
Be cautious not to imitate the detestable customs of the world
Close your eyes to her beauty and your ears to her words
Shut your doorways upon her coming
Sparkling gold but dull silver she might bring
Do not let them consume you; do not let her lure you
Remember your creator before life is not pleasant anymore
Don’t miss the chance while His boat is still on the seashore
Remember Him before the tick of the clock is fading at your ear’s door
Do not wait until the sky slowly darkens and the sun rises no more
Remember that the worth of this world is nothing compared to what awaits
Desires to be crowned when you enter the promised gate
Heaven is preparing for your entrance
Don’t miss this chance!
