In scorching heat of summer
I dream of frosty winter
And its playful soothing winds
To benumb aches rising within
On freezing nights
Dull and grey
When i give in
With dismay
To soul clenching despair
Borne out by the icy air
I shut my stone cold eyes
And pine for warmer skies
