Salacious Dynamics

Smiles warmer than the sun lead you as you
Enter the hall to fall right into their trap as they
Race to serve you lies like lace saving grace.
Proper all the time with the right words to
Entrance your eyes with lies that
Nettle your mind and nestle in your heart
To tap into your life and your wallet.
Reality is a tragedy of farce and irony
Enthralled with deception and immorality
Compounded by influence and opportunity.
Everybody seems to love you until they
Pass you up for a bigger fish and that’s when they
Turn your life upside down leaving you to misery’s
Inflictions of denial, trauma and shock.
One serpent is enough to destroy lives
Not just one life with its deception; the
Damage is as real as their hold and appeal on
Your heart, mind and soul.
Never did you imagine you could be such
A fool falling for a such a salacious
Maleficent serpent you thought had a soul
Incandescent with warmth but now blazes with
Control and greed for all you own waiting
Somehow for you to just fall to enjoy what it stole.
Reception is a serpent’s trap that sets a set for its salacious dynamics!
