Late Night Conversation

Funny how all of a sudden I woke up and you’re gone,
like last night we never talked.
You came like a sparkle of stardust drowned into a pitch black dark;
a glint of remarkable swallowed by a reckless memory.

And I can’t get over you.
I cannot just erase you in my mind.
I cannot just unlove the spirit that lives in your chest,
and just like how you vanished,
I cannot convince myself that you were just a mirage from a lucid dream.

Wherever you are now I wish you all the best things this lifetime can offer.
I wish that safe can be more safer to you,
and every time you feel like the world doesn’t play fair enough, just…

remember how our stars lined up one night.
I was here, and I’m not going anywhere.
You just pick me up again and I’m yours.
