Life’s Shadow
Day and night your shadow is with you
to haunt you or appease you with value.
Choice is a shadow following you
with aftermaths or blessings for you.
Smile or cry it’s all up to you
Good or bad says a lot about you.
Lonely or on your own depends on you.
Lost or found is a choice made by you.
Life is a crossroad traversed by you
with good or bad choices made by you.
If you want better results from you
then do things differently to serve you.
Every act of kindness you do
shows the grace and mercy in you.
Every time you forgive you
show others the humanity in you.
Letting go of hurts done to you
is a gift from you to you.
It sets you free to help you
focus on what matters to you.
So let your choices speak for you
in deeds that show the real you.
And let your shadow validate you
not others for your life belongs to you.

Your shadow symbolizes how far you go in life, you, yourself is the only one who can choose the life you wanted and the choices that are good for you. Do not let others dictate you. Be yourself. There is nothing wrong in going opposite against the majority. Make your own path.
