Super Blue Moon

Saturated powder blue woes build,

Unlike any other moon beyond the field,

Perhaps, ‘tis a rabbit hole or naught at all,

Erstwhile, illusions of you corrode my atoms,

Ravenous as a wolf in the catacombs.

Blasé higanbana on your epitaph

Like electron spins in retrograde, ungraft,

Unmade, your luster fades back to dewy cyan,

Erosions of lunar grief flush the dirty remnant.

Moonlit cheeks soak in happy tears

Oh, sacred blue, I live for night of cheers,

O’er and o’er, you lift my soul,

Neither cur nor boor, my saccharine cajole.
