Too old enough to understand,
Knowing the best and the worst.
Too old enough to understand,
That I can’t change this course,
As I choose to walk to this side
This uneasy mind will never subside.
Too old enough to understand,
Because time cannot be reversed,
This life is wretched.
After I see her leaving me alone
I become crooked.
Knowing I have been left with oughts,
But I’m still a boy inside my thoughts.
Too old enough to understand,
Despite living alone,
I need someone so I can grow.
So I could explore the unknown because;
I’m too young and deficient to understand,
Unaware of what’s the best and the worst.
