If You Wished

If You Wished

Amidst
confusing flashes
of opaque darkness
Gleams of a forgotten wish bring light
Some reminiscent dull memories appear
Though faded with time’s constant jilt
But yet Unmarred and indestructible
To soothe mind’s forgotten queries
Unless
Hours are gone and the moon drops dead
Into the stagnant sea, still as Time
To let the estranged
turn back to love
Even if stars
one by one fall from the sky
Wait for the final glimpse
while the dying breath lasts

A seeker, dreamer, scribbler, reader, writing poetry as musings of a restless mind....and yes 'the sight of the stars makes me dream' too....
