When Fears Sing
Caged inside forcefully
Sad heart rudely confined,
Though aches unnervingly
Solace it shall not find
Though it remembers still
Happy songs, it once heard
On a winter’s grey morn
A morn… Untouched by grief
A morn devoid of pain
But Hear well! Fear sings too
It Whispers most harshly
To eerie, timeless tunes
