LUNA

LUNA is a poem written by Mira Dizon and shared with The Ugly Writers under the theme Terrible Ideas for the month of July.

LUNA

Typical cold morning,
Coffee is right waiting.
Lightened my cigs,
Just like the smoke,
Tension vanished away.

It’s been a while
Since I saw your smile
As always you made me calm
I stare passionately…
I’m about to cry
Because there’s joy
In my heart, finally…

This is why
You’re tatted on my wrist
So when I’m ’bout to burst
I see you there…
You’re there…
And your curve..
That looks like a smiley face
The curve that can’t be flattened…
Whatever faces you may in.
