We’re all living this life the first time is a poem written by kamiela and shared with The Ugly Writers under the theme Shining Bright / Deepest Black for the month of November
No one has ever lived life twice
Nor someone has figured it out once
So I don’t have to listen to anyone
Or tell me what should be done
We are living this life for the first time
So it’s my call how I will play it out
Only I can say if it’s worth breathing
Or if it’s worth ending
Others may have lived my age once
But just like me, they were lost with nothing to boast
All have to walk to make a path
And run away to call it a journey
We are living this life for the first time
And dead before we can even get a grasp
I may make a lot of mistakes
But at least I have myself to blame
