A dream from afar,
A wish upon a star,
That’s what you are to me somehow.
Yet despite all,
My heart keeps on waiting,
Trying to convince fate,
You’re still the one it’s beating.
Sometimes I wonder,
When does my heart give up?
Or does it ever give up?
When distance seems to be,
Your constant answer.
But maybe..
That’s why it is called love,
Because it refuses to lose you,
Without putting up a fight.
